The Short Version:
I’m not tracking you personally. I don’t collect your name, your address, or your childhood secrets. However, Google Analytics does collect some basic data—things like how many people visit my site and which pages they look at.
Why? Because I like knowing if anyone actually reads this stuff.
Now, if you want the full, lawyer-approved version (because, apparently, I need one), here it is:
The Official, Lawyer-Friendly Privacy Policy
1. Information I Collect (It’s Still Not Much, I Promise)
- If you email me, I will see your email address. That’s just how email works.
- If you visit my website, Google Analytics may collect some basic, anonymous data—like what country you’re in, what pages you looked at, and how long you stuck around.
- No, I don’t know your name. No, I don’t know what you had for lunch.
2. How I Use Your (Minimal) Information
- If you email me, I may respond. That’s the extent of our deep data relationship.
- Google Analytics tells me how many people visit my site and what content people seem to like. It helps me make better, more relevant content (and also helps me feel less like I’m talking to myself).
3. Google Analytics & Cookies (Yes, But Nothing Creepy)
I use Google Analytics to get insights into website traffic. Here’s what that means:
- Google collects anonymous data—things like how you found my site, which pages you looked at, and how long you stayed.
- I do not see personal details like your name, phone number, or social security number (because that would be weird).
- Google Analytics uses cookies (not the good kind) to track visits. If you don’t want to be tracked, you can disable cookies in your browser.
🔹 Want to opt out? You can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on to stop Analytics tracking.
4. Third-Party Links & External Websites
Sometimes, I link to my social media pages, portfolio work, or other websites. If you click on those, you’re now in their world. They might collect data, track you, or serve you weirdly specific ads based on that one time you Googled “how to remove a coffee stain.” I have zero control over that.
5. Your Rights (If You Actually Want to Use Them)
- If you’ve ever emailed me and want me to delete your email from my inbox, just ask. I’ll hit delete and pretend it never happened.
- If you’re not cool with Google Analytics tracking, block cookies in your browser or use the opt-out link above.
6. Updates to This Policy (Highly Unlikely, But Here It Is Anyway)
If I decide to start collecting more data (which I won’t), I’ll update this page. But realistically, I have better things to do.
7. Questions? Concerns? Want to Talk About Video Instead?
📩 Email me: adam@digitalconsultingllc.com
I’ll respond if it’s important. Otherwise, let’s all agree that privacy is cool, and we can move on with our lives.
